The interview I moderated was an experience that highlighted the complexities of immigration and adaptation. While the interviewee's journey to America may have appeared less challenging compared to others, it became clear that the struggle was not away, but rather took on a different form. The focus shifts to navigating and assimilating into a new society, which presents its own set of obstacles. It was interesting to explore the interviewee's perspective on language, as it resonated with my own struggles in adapting to unfamiliar environments. This project was a valuable reminder that the process of integrating into society and striving for a better life is a universal human experience, and it deepened my understanding of the hardships migrants face around the world.
