A restaurant I recommend going to is Barzola located at 33-01 Broadway, Astoria . It's one of my favorite restaurants because of the amazing Ecuadorian food they serve. I love their Chaulafan which is fried rice with dark soy sauce and has egg, pork, beef, chicken and shrimp. It tastes just like an actual Ecuadorian Chaulafan which is a plus. As well as their ceviche it is a soup type which contains shrimp, onions, tomatoes, lime juice and cilantro. It comes with a side of rice or fried plantain chips as you can see with a picture I took. They also have many more typical traditional dishes from Ecuador that taste amazing. It's spacious and has 3 locations in queens. I can say the ones in Astoria and Jackson Heights are great.

Hey! omg i’m also half Ecuadorian and have heard of Barzola but have not had the chance to try it out yet. I guess this is my sign lol. My top two favorite Ecuadorian foods have to be ceviche and humitas so i’ll definitely have to go there thanks for the rec!
